Natalie Where are You?!?!?

I lost Natalie today!! Why....because I am awesome!!! She was in her bed room playing with toys and I was cleaning, scrubbing bathrooms and doing laundry, etc.. All of the sudden it dawned on me she was not there. I looked at the front door and it was still locked so I knew she was somewhere in the apartment. I looked everywhere under beds, in cupboards, behind couches, all the while screaming in a panic for her!! Nothing. Finally after I walked past this box for the 20th time I seen it wiggle. Looked and sure enough there she was. She starting laughing and I am not going to lie it was funny then. You have no idea what a feat it was for her to be quiet. When we play hide and seek and you tell her you are coming she usually giggles and when you ask her where she is she will tell you....Not Today!!

She plays a mean Triangle!!

Last night, Alyssa had a Christmas program at school!! She had been telling us for weeks how she had a really special part and we have to come. So what was it...She got to play the triangle, which happens to be her favorite instrument! She was so funny. We arrived 30 minutes early, only to find out that was not nearly early enough. There was only two empty seats in the whole place, Marcy and Nat were home sick with Chubby, so we sat in the seats thinking we are so lucky. In come the kids and wouldn't you know it Alyssa is standing in the only place that we can't see!!! Awesome!!! So we got up and made a B line for the other side of the room where there was standing room only. We did get to see her and she looked so pretty in her dress. The Picture is not that great but the best I could do under all the circumstances. After it was over we went to the mall, had Ice cream and did a little window shopping. We had a great night and really enjoyed spending time with lys all by her self. Even thought we missed Marcy and Nat a bunch!! Those moments are scarce the more kids that you have. We have great kids and we love them so much.

I'm Freezed!!!

Today was such a nice day here in North Dakota!! By nice I mean, no wind, no snow, sun in full view, and it was 17 degrees!! That's right people above ZERO! We were not about to let it slip by us. I took my little marshmellows to Beaus work to sled down the hills that the guys have made from plowing the parking lot. Marcy had such a great time. It was so nice for them to spend a little time outside.

Nat enjoyed being outside, but she wasn't trying the sled for NOTHING!! She liked pretending she was a penguin and sliding down on her belly. She lasted about 30 min before she comes running in saying, "I'm freezed"!!!

Alyssa lasted the longest. She must have gone down that hill 100 times. It showed when we got home too. She didn't even lay down all the way and was asleep. What a great day we had!!

Decking the halls!

Well, Christmas is on it's way for sure so we thought we better roll up our sleeves and get ready for it. We did not pack our Christmas Tree when we moved. The theory being that it would just take up space that we needed for more important things. We had decided back then that we would just buy a real one, the first one of our marriage. We were looking forward to picking it out and having the challenge of keeping it alive. So the week of Thanksgiving I start checking into getting a real one. I look online, I ask around, I look at what I think would be normal place that they would be sold.....NOTHING!!! I could not find a real tree ANYWHERE!! So, on the 1st of December I finally broke down and bought another, Awesome, artificial tree. The next day while I am taking the girls to school, I see the real ones being unloaded off of the truck.....fml!!! This is the finished product!!! It turned out great. The girls and I had such a fun night decorating. We watched Rudolph the red nosed reindeer, drank hot chocolate and let our creative juices flow!!

I forgot to post these pictures when I put the Thanksgiving ones up. Derek and Maddie came up for Thanksgiving and we were lucky enough to have them over night. I really miss seeing these guys all the time, But it makes the time that we do get to spend together so much better.

I love Derek's face in this picture!!!! I am pretty sure there was an evil laugh that went with that face as well!!! Oh how I love it!!!
